GO!!!

Welcome to the start of the Amazing Mutant Race 4! We have some fierce competitors gathered here today so this promises to be a truly exciting competition. Of course we should all remember that the point of this game is to have fun. And to embarrass your opponents while you grind them into the dust.

The race will begin here in the parking lot of Xavier's School for Gifted Students in Westchester, New York in just a few moments. You may start when I fire this gun. For this first leg, you will each be given a Ford Expedition and will have to drive from here to the Canadian town of Moose Jaw located in the Saskatchewan province. There you will find the Detour for this leg of the race.

A Detour presents a choice between two tasks, each with their own pros and cons. Once a task has been completed, the contestants must then race to the Pit Stop. In this Detour, the teams must chose between Claw or Saw.

In Claw, each team will be assisting the Canadian government's Department H branch in stopping a terrible danger. Do you recall hearing about that school bus full of nuns and orphans that went missing in the backwoods a few months ago? Well long story short, there are now dozens of Wendigos loose in the Canada wilderness. To complete this task, you must bring an incapacitated Wendigo to the Pit Stop at the Department H field headquarters in Moose Jaw.

In Saw, you must head from Moose Jaw to the nearby local tribal seat of the Athabaskan Indians and convince the tribal elder that you are worthy of taking a vision quest. If you are successful, you will be taken to the sweat lodge to meet the shaman who will prepare you for your inner journey. To successfully complete this task, you must find out what your place in the universe is. Once you have accomplished that, head for the Pit Stop in Moose Jaw.

If a team is unsuccessful in completing a challenge they have chosen, then they must attempt the other challenge. The first team to arrive at the Pit Stop will be declared the winner of this leg of the race and will get to use a Yield on a competitor of their choice. The last team to arrive will be eliminated.

Good luck everyone and remember . . it's always winter in Canada.

BANG!!

Someday I've gotta find out what yield signs mean in real life.
